A neighbour recently died, after removing anything of value from the house his family refused to pay for his funeral and left him to a paupers grave. Are'nt some people truly compassionate (NOT).

when you're walking through the passageways of the labyrinth of life,
And you feel lost and lonely in the corridors of strife,
sit back and relax a while, and think of those you love,
and when you feel the terrors and the loneliness have gone,
Begin again and let your loved ones love light guide you on.

LIFE OR DEATH.

Is there truly life once our bodies die?
a place of light beyond the sky?
Is death the end? Just dead and cold?
Or do we believe the things we are told?
Do we Humans fear death so much, that,
at fairy stories we must clutch?
Or does our spirit truly survive?
Though our body is no longer alive,
Religious believers say they all agree,
There is an afterlife for you and me,
But are they playing with my head?
and is dead after all just dead?
I truly wish I could believe,
Then I'd no longer need to grieve,
For all the loved ones I now miss,
The ones I long once more to kiss.
At least the religious like the Pope,
Believe enough to give me hope,
But I guess the only way I'll know,
Is when it becomes my turn to go,
I hope there is a place for me,
But like All of us I'll wait and see.

I wrote this in 1994 when I was still searching for my Path, Strange how it still holds true no matter what you choose to believe.
